New Untouchables review

From the New Untouchables website:

MOHAIR SWEETS – An Introduction To… Mini LP

Winnipeg’s (yes that one in Canada) Mohair Sweets, led by songmaster/guitarman Colin Bryce offer a super R&B tingling Introduction collection from the past 4 or so years catalogue, which hits big across the spectrum of Bluesy-Punky-Rockin’ energy with 5 obscure covers from 7 total tracks with a nice mix of jaunty twangy Feelgood arrangements and renditions festooned with true grit and frantic drive, with my own fave being ‘The Green Light’ (a Bryce classic) with the ever tight band smashing through these fine tunes with a familiar yet fresh abandon with the slower bluesy workouts matching the very best out there, for deep heart and soul. A November, UK visit is planned we hear too, for lovers of the live and direct kind! In the meantime, this fine collection is available for pre-order very soon! Do not miss out! Go Here!
